Joyce is an aspiring interior designer and a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Interior Design program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Over the years, Joyce has developed a range of technical skills that have helped her execute her concepts into design.
Passionate about research based design, Joyce is dedicated to combining exploration, creativity, and knowledge into functional and innovative design. Through her travel experiences and cultural exploration, Joyce brings an open minded and broad perspective to implementing design solutions. Her professional and adaptive communication and interpersonal skills have flourished due to her community involvement. She is an advocate of designing for the environment and end users. She is particularly inspired by architecture and design that address social and humanitarian crises.
Joyce enjoys learning and pursuing personal growth in all aspects of life. On the personal side, she enjoys volunteering, playing music, reading, backcountry camping and traveling. She was born in Hong Kong and currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
